Planning a Cyprus city and coast trip

Cyprus offers different days among old harbours, stone streets, archaeological sites and the sea. Girne combines the harbour and Bellapais; Famagusta pairs the walls with Salamis; Paphos brings mosaics; Larnaca offers its waterfront and lake. Enjoy those differences rather than carrying the same checklist into each town.

Choose one or two bases for a short holiday rather than trying to complete all four towns. Balance culture with rest by the coast and give large archaeological sites separate mornings. Actual hotel location, swimming access and travel between towns shape the trip; the room photograph cannot explain the whole holiday.
